Conflict Mineral Policy


Purpose
: Ouman is committed to responsible sourcing practices and to conducting its business in an ethical and socially responsible manner. This Conflict Mineral Policy outlines our commitment to complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to conflict minerals, as well as our commitment to promoting responsible sourcing within our supply chain.


Scope
: This policy applies to all employees, suppliers, and contractors involved in the supply chain processes of the Company.


Definitions
: Conflict Minerals: Conflict minerals are minerals mined in conditions that are associated with human rights abuses, environmental degradation, and armed conflict. The minerals of concern are typically tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG) originating from an area of armed conflict and traded illicitly.


Commitment to Responsible Sourcing
: Ouman is committed to responsible sourcing practices and will take the following steps to ensure the responsible sourcing of conflict minerals:

  1. Ouman complies with EU conflict minerals regulation.
  2. Ouman will exercise due diligence in its supply chain to identify the source and chain of custody of conflict minerals. This may include contacting suppliers and requesting information on the origin of conflict minerals.
  3. Ouman conducts a risk assessments to determine the presence and source of conflict minerals in its supply chain.
  4. Ouman will communicate its expectations regarding conflict minerals to its suppliers and will encourage them to adopt responsible sourcing practices.
  5. Ouman will require suppliers to provide information on the source and chain of custody of conflict minerals and will report this information to relevant authorities as required by law.
  6. Ouman reserves the right to conduct audits or assessments of its supply chain to ensure compliance with this policy.
  7. Ouman is committed to continuous improvement in its responsible sourcing practices. We will review and update this policy as necessary to reflect changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
